The IIC team has tremendous pride in announcing that one of our writer’s work has been chosen to be published in the NYU Gallatin College Literacy Review!
The Literacy Review is an annual journal of writing from adult literacy programs throughout New York City. Edited by Gallatin students, the book is distributed at a celebration that includes readings by the newly published writers. It is to be published May 5, 2015.
They received over 800 entries this year, and only 70 students were selected to be published. The winner of the competition is a Japanese student, who was taught by our Educational Director, Mark Brik.
We wish to congratulate the amazing achievements of all participating students and look forward tremendously to reading the chosen entries in May.
